Sorry it's been so long

So I realized after I started the blog that I have no clue what to blog about! HAHA...how funny is that???
But the more I think about it the more I realize that it doesn't have to be something big. It can just be something random that's happened in my day. Something that I learned or grew in.

For now I'll just give an overview of my last three months( a quarter in my year of work).
This quarter, at YWAm Denver, I was the kitchen supervisor and I worked with the Phase 2: School of leadership. For the Phase 2 i had four girls in my small group(kind of like a mentor group). It wasn't always easy but I can truly say that I'm proud of each of my girls. They made mistakes yes, but I got to watch them choose to learn from those mistakes and grow closer to God through them. It's an amazing privilege! I love it!

The beginning of this quarter was a little rocky for me. I was in a rough spot personally and really felt like I had nothing to give. But when I prayed about having a small group God said to do it. He has taught me so much about myself this quarter. Has shown me that I always have something to give because of who He's called me...Abbigail. Which means, the Father's joy and bringer of joy. Wow when i think back over this quarter i realize just how much I learned!

The start of something new!

So today I decided that I wanted to start blogging so that my family, friends, and supporters could better keep track of what's going on in my life. This is something that I've wanted to start for a while and so here I am writing my first blog.
Not sure when I'll blog next; however, I'm pretty excited about it so probably soon!
